I apologize for having to use this site to contact my relatives. My ancestor, Johan Wilhelm Weynand and Kathrina Lauter Weynand, left Elsenborn about 1851 for the USA. Their sons were Steven who had married Sybilla Hufertins Rohl, Michael who had married Anna Kremer, Jacob who had married Maria Dorothea Gattin and Christian (wife unknown). They settled in Wisconsin, USA. Are you a direct relation to our family?
